Description

A wine of exceptional quality made with the best grapes of a single harvest. A Vintage declaration occurs when producers believe that all conditions are gathered to release the highest standard of quality. On average, fully declared 2 to 3 times per decade, the wine must be bottled between the 2nd and 3rd year after the harvest. A wine built to age for decades reaching full maturity after 20 to 40 years of bottle aging.

Tasting Notes

1985 is a great classic Vintage, with concentrated, rich and potent wines. General declaration. Nose of tobacco leaf, herbs and sweet cherry, with a palate full of ripe raspberry and spicy red liquorice. Rich and persistent fininsh of chocolate.
