Description
This is until now the best release of a Single Harvest Tawny Port (Colheita) by Graham's, bearing in mind that the 1969 and 1972 are highly noteworthy and appealing too. The 1952 was released to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Queen's accession to the throne. It is here in an unusual large format (Jeroboam) of 4,5 liters and the very last bottling of this great 1952 Colheita Port (2014).
Tasting Notes
Wonderful bouquet of gingerbread, dates and toffee. The medium-full palate displays sweet almonds, nougat, mocha and citrus peel, against a backdrop of great acidity and stupendous balance, and a beautiful finish.
