Description
A wine of exceptional quality made with the best grapes of a single harvest. A Vintage declaration occurs when producers believe that all conditions are gathered to release the highest standard of quality. On average, fully declared 2 to 3 times per decade, the wine must be bottled between the 2nd and 3rd year after the harvest. A wine built to age for decades reaching full maturity after 20 to 40 years of bottle aging.
Tasting Notes
Bouquet of fresh menthol, cherry and mohca, and a medium-full bodied palate laced with liquorice and red fruit, leading to a lovely finish.
