Description

Purchased from the widow of a winemaker whose family lives in the village of Burie in the heart of the Borderies appelation and famous for the quality of its eaux-de-vie. It is a very unique and rare lot aged in a dry cellar, hence a very charming, high ABV spirit, for those who like powerful Cognacs.

Tasting Notes

The nose is very elelgant with spices (curcuma, candied ginger) and an incredible freshness for such an old Cognac. The texture is rich and dense with delicate notes of rancio. The mouth opns with canded fruits and canded ginger. The finale is endless.
