Description
Most probably from the village of Criteul-la-Magdelaine, famous for its chalky limestone soils. One of the most unique and rare lot from grosperrin.
Tasting Notes
Nose of old Grande Champagne, very lively for its age. A lot of finesse, with notes of candied fruits and exotic wood. A very balanced, tense and delicate rancio. The mouth delivers soft tannins and complex flavours. The finale is long with notes of blackcurrant. A masterpiece.
