Description

Calvados Pays d'Auge are exclusively made with apples and the cider goes through a double distillation in a traditional pot still, before being aged in large wooden vats and casks. The Calvados from AOC Pays d'Auge are rich, complex and suitable for a long aging.

Tasting Notes

Calvados Camut XXIII is a blend of roughly 23 years of age. It is a new series called Latin number series exclusive to Singapore bottled for Colheitas and our friends at The Auld Alliance. It is a wonderful expression of the unique style of Camut, the most renowned Calvados producer. We feel blessed to have the privilege to bottle our own blend of Camut, thanks to Emmanuel and Jean Gabriel Camut. The 1st series included a 9, 23 & 47 yo calvados. We will add further new bottling in the future. XXIII is the pure expression of the pays d'Auge with all the DNA of Camut, expressing an incredible purity of the fruit, rancio and liquorice aromas so distinctive to Camut.
