Description

This second bottling (bottled in 2018) of a unique Single Cask Colheita Port selected during summer 2014 in Porto amongst several casks from the best Port houses to commemorate Singapore 50th Anniversary. This is a true collector's item and the very last of any Single Cask project from Kopke. A Colheita is a tawny Port from a single harvest and exceptional quality, aged for a minimum of 7 years in cask, representing less than 1% of the total production of Port every year.

Tasting Notes

Intense aromatic scents of dried fruit, nuts and citrus associated with fine notes of exotic wood and spices. It is rich and multi-dimensional, with flavours of fig, prune, cashew, praline, roasted coffee bean and butterscotch. Incredible concentration, freshness and harmony, combined with bright and tangy acidity provide an exceptional balance. The finish is very long, highly complex and beautiful.
