Description

A wine fortified above 17% in order to prevent the formation of flor yeasts . Base wines are richer than those selected for aging under flor and with time they develop richness as well as typical oxidative notes of dried fruits, spices and exotic wood. A great wine that has been ageing for almost 30 years, with a smooth yet powerful palate that is rich, velvety and slightly off-dry.

Tasting Notes

Expressing an intense bouquet of candied fruit, roasted cashew and cigar ash, this slightly off-dry wine is rich, smooth and ample in the mouth, showing an accomplished sense of balance and structure.
