Description

In 1955, the prestigious Solera Cincuentenario was founded, which comprises a large collection of traditional fortified wines, aged by the system of criaderas and soleras in old American oak butts. This Oloroso is a highly accomplished wine of extraordinary complexity and dazzling charm.

Tasting Notes

This superb wine is a very old Oloroso that exudes finesse and grace. An expressive nose of incense, antique furniture store, amber wood and a touch of varnish, is a tantalising prelude to a concentrated, full bodied and balanced palate of cloves, caramel and a hint of smokiness. The salivating finish is clean and long.
