Description

Poeirinho Garrafeira is a highly limited reserve, or Garrafeira version of Niepoort Poeirinho. There were just two barrels of this wine made. Dirk Niepoort decided to put aside these two vats and mature the wine for a longer period. The result is a wine with a higher level of elegance, freshness, structure and complexity.

Tasting Notes

Drinking this violet-hued wine is a profound & mind-blowing experience, with a vibrant nose of red berries, spice, tobacco leaf and small flowers. The multi-layered palate has beautifully structured acidity, great finesse and freshness, with delicate tanins and superb balance, leading to a lingering and elegant finish.
