Description

Nat Cool is naturally cool and funky. It represents an innovative concept initiated by Dirk Niepoort, in which various producers come together to create light, easy-to-drink wines. The unfiltered Primata comes from 100% Touriga Nacional from vineyards in the Tabua co region of the Douro Valley, and weighs in at a light 10% ABV, yet is big on aromatic and palate intensity, and has a minimal amount of sulphur. Welcome to the Nat Cool world!

Tasting Notes

Winemaker Luis Pedro Candido da Silva handcrafts the Primata at Quinta da Carolina, and this refreshing wine is naturally fermented (100% whole bunch in lagares) unfined and unfiltered. On the nose, there is incredible freshness and bergamot jelly bean fragrance, while the palate features sappy raspberry and black cherry, leading to a long and delicate finish.
