Description
Calvados Domfrontais AOC was separated from the main AOC Calvados in 1997 to highlight the typicity of this small and unique terroir. The complexity of the soil and sub soil, made of limestone, clay, schist and granite is more suited to the production of pears. Calvados Domfrontais are characterised by great freshness and elegance. Slightly lighter in style than the Pays d'Auge, they develop amazing complexity and finesse with age.
Tasting Notes
Amber colour, aromas of candied pear and light spice. The mouth delivers fruity and floral notes as well as dried fruits, leading to a long and delicate finale. One of our favorite Lemorton, a true gem.
