Description

A wine of exceptional quality made with the best grapes of a single harvest. A Vintage declaration occurs when producers believe that all conditions are gathered to release the highest standard of quality. On average, fully declared 2 to 3 times per decade, the wine must be bottled between the 2nd and 3rd year after the harvest. A wine built to age for decades reaching full maturity after 20 to 40 years of bottle aging.

Dark and deep purple colour. Expressive bouquet revealing youthful dark fruit, powerful on the initial sip, offering great freshness on the mid-palate with layers of seductive blackberry unfurling. This 2017 vintage combines power and elegance that journeys onto a bold, dry, long and slightly green tannic finish. Its structure, length and depth are indicative of a wine endowed with longevity and great ageing potential for many decades. Fabulous.
