Description

Domino Salao Frio comes from grapes grown at 650m altitude in Portalegre, north Alentejo, 2ha co-fermentation of Grand Noir, Trincadeira, Castelao, Aragonez, Fernao Pires, Tamarez, Arinto. 60 days maceration with 70% whole bunches; 1 year ageing in old oak 228 litre barrels.

Tasting Notes

Beautiful deep-seated fragrance to nose and palate, with scented red cherry and currant, flowers and spice. Mineral-sluiced acidity make for a fine, persistent, very long palate. Lovely purity and joie de vivre. s
