Description

From a higher, East-facing plot of the Piesporter single vineyard, very stony soils with a higher proportion of quartzite. A refined dry Riesling that is elegant, balanced and brimming with zippy acidity.

Tasting Notes

The 2016 Mosel Riesling Falkenberg has a very clear, fresh and delicately aromatic, slatey nose of white ripe fruit and cold stones. Lush and piquant, with a coastal freshness and remarkable finesse, this is a supple yet tensioned dry Riesling. The finish is long, pure and salty, absolutely refreshing and highly delicate.
