Description
The grapes are sourced from a few very old field blend vineyards, ranging from 50 to 100 yo and mostly south & south west facing. A blend of Jaen, Baga, Tinta Amarela, and many others. A wine with superb aromatic structure, elegant crunchy tannins and great intensity. The hard work of Antonio in the vineyards translates into a superb terroir driven wine.
Tasting Notes
Mineral aromas and flavours of granite and fresh black forest fruits. Great structure with hints of vegetal nuances, small flowers and pine needles. Delicate, pure, tightly knit, full of life, elegant and well structured. 2016 was an excellent year thanks to exceptional weather conditions leading to healthy and ripe grapes. A very long aging potential.
