Description

A White Port from a single harvest and exceptional quality, aged for a minimum of 7 years in cask. Like a Vintage Port, a White Colheita Port is only released when the best conditions are gathered. Whilst it ages, its young fruity and fresh aromas develop through oxidation to create an increased smoothness harmony and complexity. White Colheitas are extremely special and rare.

Tasting Notes

1963 is a mythical vintage for Port. Highly intense aromas, with hints of marmalade, caramel, dried fruits, figs, jam and a bit of toffee. Wonderfully smooth mouthfeel, great balance between acidity and sweetness, with deep notes of citrus in the mid-palate and flavours of dried nuts at the end, with a long silky aftertaste that fulfill the mouth. Sublime.
