A Vintage declaration occurs when producers believe that all conditions are gathered to release the highest standard of quality. On average, fully declared 2 to 3 times per decade, the wine must be bottled between the 2nd and 3rd year after the harvest. A wine built to age for decades reaching full maturity after 20 to 40 years of bottle aging.
Tasting Notes
A great classic Vintage, with concentrated, rich and pure wines. General & legendary declaration. Great quality wines with intense aromas of concentrated ripe fruit and perfect tannins. A medley of typical notes of matured Vintage Port with a lot of freshness and complexity for its age. Outstanding wine.
