Description

A wine of exceptional quality made with the best grapes of a single harvest. A Vintage declaration occurs when producers believe that all conditions are gathered to release the highest standard of quality. On average, fully declared 2 to 3 times per decade, the wine must be bottled between the 2nd and 3rd year after the harvest. A wine built to age for decades reaching full maturity after 20 to 40 years of bottle aging.

Tasting Notes

A great classic Vintage, with concentrated, rich and potent wines. General declaration. Great quality wines with intense aromas of concentrated fruit and firm tannins, rich and full-bodied wines. Lovely display of cassis, kirsch, cherry and mocha on the nose, then onto a palate of blackberry jam, nicely integrated tannins and good grip.
