A Tawny Port from a single harvest and exceptional quality, aged for a minimum of 7 years in cask, representing less than 1% of the total production of Port every year. Like a Vintage Port, a Colheita is only released when the best conditions are gathered. Whilst it ages, its young fruity and fresh aromas develop through oxidation to create an increased smoothness harmony and complexity.

Another example of the quintessence of Niepoort old Colheita Port. Bottled in the 70s with a long cork. A wine with tremendous acids and salinity that will express its best after decanting. Niepoort released a trio of new perfect Colheita in the 30s (34, 35, 37), among some of the very best Colheita Ports ever produced.
