Description

A wine of exceptional quality made with the best grapes of a single harvest. A Vintage declaration occurs when producers believe that all conditions are gathered to release the highest standard of quality. On average, fully declared 2 to 3 times per decade, the wine must be bottled between the 2nd and 3rd year after the harvest. A wine built to age for decades reaching full maturity after 20 to 40 years of bottle aging.

Tasting Notes

The most Burgundian Vintage Port of 2019. It emphasised balance and elegance with great purity of fruit. The finish as usual with recent Niepoort's vintage Ports is rather dry. A wine that is very approachable & delicious now with a tremendous aging potential.
