Description

A wine of exceptional quality made with the best grapes of a single harvest. A Vintage declaration occurs when producers believe that all conditions are gathered to release the highest standard of quality. On average, fully declared 2 to 3 times per decade, the wine must be bottled between the 2nd and 3rd year after the harvest. A wine built to age for decades reaching full maturity after 20 to 40 years of bottle aging.

Tasting Notes

Dark ruby. Floral bouquet of violets, rose petals and cassis, leading to a full-bodied and vibrant palate of raspberry and chocolate, as well as round and well-integrated tannins. The finish is lush and lingering.
