Description

A wine of exceptional quality made with the best grapes of a single harvest. A Vintage declaration occurs when producers believe that all conditions are gathered to release the highest standard of quality. On average, fully declared 2 to 3 times per decade, the wine must be bottled between the 2nd and 3rd year after the harvest. A wine built to age for decades reaching full maturity after 20 to 40 years of bottle aging.

Tasting Notes

Dark purple in colour. This 2013 VP combines intensity with elegance, balance and harmony. With an aroma of rockrose, cassis, blackcurrant and fresh violets, this wine opens beautifully in the glass, presenting luscious plum and cherry, lively acidity and mint chocolate, with excellent structure, good grip and precision on the persistent finish.
