Description
A wine of exceptional quality made with the best grapes of a single harvest. A Vintage declaration occurs when producers believe that all conditions are gathered to release the highest standard of quality. On average, fully declared 2 to 3 times per decade, the wine must be bottled between the 2nd and 3rd year after the harvest. A wine built to age for decades reaching full maturity after 20 to 40 years of bottle aging.
Tasting Notes
Unfairly overshadowed by the monumental 1963, this is one of the greatest Taylor's VP ever made with incredible structure, power and focus. It has now reached a plateau and will continue to develop at a much slower pace.
